COVID-19 has triggered researchers to explore the topic which can be shown by the number of publications since the pandemic has started. However less is known about how COVID-19 acts as catalyst in the subject area of information system publication. Information system research itself is a unique interdisciplinary topic allowing broader view. This research seeks to add a deeper insight about how COVID-19 becomes the trigger on research specifically on the specific topic. By using extracted SCOPUS database in the area of Information System combined with bibliometric analysis, this article seeks presents study of COVID-19 literature in the domain of Information System to identify current research trends. We further expect to highlight the connection of COVID-19 role and the astounding number of research trend specifically on the topic of information system.
