한국어

朝鮮館譯語는 외국어 寫音 문자로서의 사음 규칙이 있었기 때문에(姜信沆 1980: 30, 姜信沆 1995: 180) 음가 추정 자료로 사용할 때에 부차적인 자료로 취급되어 왔다. 본고는 조선관역어의 표기가 외국어 화자가 한국어의 발음을 모어의 문자 체계로 전사한 결과물이라는 점에 착안하여 조선관역어의 제 가치를 찾아 주는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 현대 한어의 외래어음운론을 정리하고, 이와 함께 會同館系 華夷譯語의 사음규칙을 다시 정리해 본다. 최종적으로, 현대 한어의 외래어 표기 규칙과 會同館系 華夷譯語의 사음규칙을 종합하여 조선관역어에 담긴 소실문자의 음가를 새로이 해석해 본다.

As the chinese characters in Chaoxianguanyiyu were used with different phonetic values from those used to mnemonically record Chinese language, the phonetic value of Korean in Chaoxianguanyiyu has been considered as unreliable. suggests a new way to study Chaoxianguanyiyu by revisiting Huayiyiyu, focusing on the fact that the notation of Chaoxianguanyiyu is similar with the loanword phonology in modern Chinese. To this end, this paper reviews the loanword phonology of modern Chinese, and examines the phonetic value and system of each ‘Chinese phoneme’ used in Huayiyiyu. Finally, by synthesizing the loanword phonology in the modern Chinese and the transcription principles in Huayiyiyu, this paper reconstructed the phonetic value of 15th century Korean based on the examined principles: e.g. there was evidence to support the existence of ‘ㅸ’ at the coda.
