Recently, smart manufacturing innovation is practically increasing due to the adoption of new ICT application in 4th industrial revolution era. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Korea is facing the limit of the growth in traditional manufacturing industry. Most researches related to smart factory have conducted as a conceptual and descriptive study. Because of data collection and information security of the company to adopt smart factory, there is not so many empirical study. To find out the approaches to implement smart factory project, more case studies are required. Thus, in this study, to solve the problem from the limit of previous studies, this study try to conduct two approaches. One is case study on smart factory implementation of SMEs in Korea. The other is an empirical study to identify the relationship between management strategy, smart factory, and organizational performance.
