본 연구는 기업부설연구소의 설립이 기업성과와 혁신지향 형 기업이 되는데 영향을 주는지를 실증분석하고 정책 수립의 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통하여 기업부설연구소 설립과 내부역량 변수에 따라 혁신 형이나 혁신성과 형 기업군에 속하는데 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 결과적으로 기업부설연구소 설립은 혁신지향 기업 군에 속하는 확률에 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고 기업성과에도 차이가 있게 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 내부역량 중 생산운영 역량이 혁신 형 기업군 포함에 유의한 영향을 미치고 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 연구된 내용을 바탕으로 중소기업의 기업부설연구소 설립 장려와 연구소 활성화 등을 위한 정책 방향을 제시하고 한계 점과 향후 연구방향을 제안하였다.

This study attempts to empirically analyzes whether the establishment of a companyaffiliated research institute affects corporate performance and innovation-oriented enterprises, and suggests implications for policy establishment. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze if the establishment of an affiliated research institute and internal competency variables affect innovation and innovative performance-type companies. As a result, the establishment of an affiliated research institute was found to have a positive effect on the probability of belonging to an innovation-oriented company group, and it was found that it had a significant effect on business performance. In particular, there was significant effect on the production capability among internal competencies and the inclusion of innovative business groups is analyzed to have a mediating effect. Based on the research, the policy directions for encouraging the establishment of an affiliated research institute of small and medium-sized enterprises and revitalizing the research institute were suggested, and limitations and future research directions were suggested.
