The Bicycle Sharing System (BSS) encourage residents to use bicycles as an environmentally sustainable and socially equitable mode of transportation. Simultaneously, these system also serve to complement other models of mass transit systems by mode sharing. However, the number of bicycles that have been destroyed and need to be scrapped will increase rapidly, and many abandoned bicycles will cause serious environmental damage. Therefore, the objective of this study is to design a closed loop supply chain of BSS (CLSC-BSS). For the CLSC-BSS, a mathematical formulation is suggested, and it is implemented using a genetic algorithm approach. In numerical experiments, the performance of the CLSC-BSS is shown. Finally, the location and allocations are found.
