This study proposes a supply chain management strategy using blockchain technology to manage the steps from production of clothing to disposal in an effective as well as transparent way. This study suggests an appropriate blockchain platform suitable especially for the fast fashion industry by comparing the types of blockchain platform and the characteristics of applicable enterprise platform technologies. It also analyzes and designs information and processes that can be distributed using blockchain technology at each stage of the supply chain in the fast fashion industry. In particular, the introduction of blockchain technology suggests ways to enhance the efficiency and transparency of the clothing waste management process. The blockchain-based clothing supply chain management proposed in this study are expected to help fast fashion companies enhance their accountability for manufacturing and recycling as well as raise awareness of eco-friendly disposal by utilizing blockchain technologies that ensure high levels of security, visibility and integrity.
