최근 부고를 받고 조문을 하면서 욕조익사사고로 돌아가셨다는 것을 알게 되었다. 욕조제조업에 32년 관련하면서 충격이었다. 이에 본 연구가 이루어졌으며 새로운 사실을 알게 되었다. 본 내용으로 연구발표가 이루어져 국민건강과 행복추구의 역할을 미력이나마 이루어지길 바란다. 본 연구는 욕조익사사고로 인하여 전혀 예상하지 못하는 상황에서 인명사고가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 따라서 욕조익사사고 방지를 위해 산업계에서 노력을 하는 특허기술관련 자료를 조사하여 도출시켰다. 또한 욕조익사사고 방지를 위해 대책을 수립하 여 예기치 않게 갑자기 죽음에 이르는 사건이 한 건이라도 줄일 수 있었으면 하는 바램이다.

It was when I attended a service to extend my condolences, that I was informed that the cause of one’s death was a drowning accident in his/her own bathtub. It came as a big shock to me since I have been dedicating to the bath-making industry for the last 32 years. This led me to initiate this study and I have achieved new findings. I hope this research would take a part in enhancing the public health and people’s well-being. The drowning accidents at bathtubs happen quite frequently and mostly unexpectedly. Therefore, this research studied and derived the patent technology used in the bathtub industry to prevent these accidents. I also hope that additional measures would be taken to further prevent tragic accidents and unexpected loss of innocent lives.
