본 연구는 미술치료에서 보다 다양하고 적절한 연구방법론 접근의 확대를 위하여 단일대상연구의 시각적 분석 방법을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 구현하기 위하여 미술치료에서 단일대상연구의 그래프에 의한 자료의 표현에서 고려할 점, 그래프에 의한 자료의 시각적 분석 방법, 그래프에 의한 자료의 조건 내 및 조건 간 변화를 분석하는 방법이 무엇인지를 논의하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 시각적 분석 방법을 제안하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조건 내 분석은 조건 순서, 조건 길이, 수준(중앙치, 평균치, 범위, 안정성 범위), 수준 변화(상대적 변화, 절대적 변화), 경향(방향, 안정성, 경향 내 경로)을 고려하여 분석한다. 둘째, 조건 간 분석은 인접조건 간 변화되는 변인의 수, 수준 변화(상대적 변화, 절대적 변화), 경향 변화(방향, 안정성)를 고려하여 분석한다. 이러한 단일대상연구의 시각적 분석 방법은 치료의 효과에 영향을 미치는 보다 질적인 측면을 확인하고, 타당도가 확보된 미술치료프로그램의 효과 입증 방법이 될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to identify visual analysis methods for single-subject researches for the expansion of more diverse and appropriate approaches to methodologies in art therapy. For this purpose, the study discussed what should be considered in data expressions in single-subject research graphs in art therapy in addition to visual analysis methods for graph-based data and analysis methods for changes to graph-based data within and between conditions. Based on the findings, the study proposed the following visual analysis methods: first, changes within a condition should be analyzed by taking into consideration the order, length, and level of conditions(median, mean, scope, and stability scope), level changes(relative and absolute changes), and trends(direction, stability, and path within a trend). Secondly, changes between conditions should be analyzed by taking into account the number of variables changing between adjacent conditions, level changes(relative and absolute changes), and trend changes(direction and stability). These visual analysis methods for single-subject research are expected to check more quality aspects to influence therapeutic effects and demonstrate the effectiveness of art therapy programs whose validity has been secured.
