실제 골프활동에서 경험하는 여러 제약으로 인해 상당수 골퍼들은 대안적 활동으로 스크린골프를 선택하고 있 다. 하지만 대다수 선행연구는 실제 골프와 스크린골프의 관계에 관심을 기울이지 못한 게 사실이다. 이에 본 연구는 국 내 골프활동 참여자를 대상으로 실제 골프활동 제약 요인이 스크린골프의 지각된 가치와 진정성에 미치는 영향을 파악 하는데 목적을 뒀다. 본 연구는 실제 골프활동의 내재적 제약과 구조적 제약이 스크린골프의 감정적 가치와 경제적 가치 에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 사실을 발견했다. 또한 두 제약 요인은 스크린골프의 진정성에도 정(+)적으로 유의한 관계 를 노출했다. 한편 골프활동의 경제적 제약은 스크린골프의 경제적 가치에 유의한 관계를 나타냈다. 분석 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 스크린골프 참여자들의 여가만족을 극대화할 수 있는 마케팅 전략을 제시했다.

A large percentage of golfers choose screen golf as a substitutable leisure activity due to their perceptions of diverse golfing constraints. Despite the presence of activity substitution resulting from golfing constraints, most previous studies have paid less attention to the interrelations between golf and screen golf. The main purpose of this study is to better understand the inherent associations between the two leisure activities using several concepts of golfing constraints as well as perceived values, and authenticity of screen golf. Study results suggest that intrapersonal constraints and structural constraints are closely related to the two domains of perceived values of emotional and economic values. The two types of golfing constraints are also significantly associated with authenticity of screen golf. Based on study results, this study provides several marketing strategies that help screen golf businesses maximize their customers’ levels of satisfaction.
