Currently, the popularity of Korean Wave (Hallyu) in Taiwan is actively promoting social, cultural and economic exchanges between the two countries. Reflecting these social phenomena, there are increasing numbers of people who need Korean talent in each field in Taiwan recently.At this point, it is necessary to cultivate Korean talents that will play an important role as bridgeheads in economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries, and it is essential to enhance national competitiveness. It should be noted that the Korean Wave in Taiwan is not a temporary phenomenon but has been steadily continuing from past to present and as the time passes, the derivatives industry related to Korean Wave develops more diversely. Although it is difficult to accurately determine the depth and direction of the impact of this phenomenon on Taiwan society in the future, If we look at the current situation, we believe that the demand for the interpretation and translation market is likely to increase day by day mainly driven by the industry. The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of indigenization education in order to improve Korean interpretation and translation ability for Korean learners in Taiwan in the future. For this purpose, I examined the current status of Korean language education, and Korean interpretation, translation education in Taiwan with the Korean Wave.
