본 연구는 학부모의 양육스트레스와 아동학대인식의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 경기도의 A시에 거주하고 있는 학부모 389명을 대상으로 설문조사한 자료를 활용하였다. 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 23.0 프로그램을 활용하여 구조방정식모형을 적용한 매개효과 분석방법을 사용하였다. 분석결과, 학부모의 아동학대 인식에 대해 양육스트레스는 부적 방향으로, 자아존중감은 정적 방향으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학부모의 양육스트레스가 아동학대인식에 미치는 영향에서 자아존중감의 매개효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 근거 로 하여 학부모의 아동학대인식을 향상시켜 아동학대를 예방하는 방법을 제시하였다. 학부모의 양육스트레스의 감소와 자 아존중감을 증진시키는 프로그램을 아동학대예방 프로그램에 포함시키는 방법 등을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 학부모의 아동 학대인식을 분석했다는 점에서 교육학적, 심리학적, 사회복지학적인 융복학적 접근이라는 점에서 그 의의를 둘 수 있다.

This study aimed to analyse the relationship between the parenting stress and the awareness of school parents’ child abuse. This study also examined the mediating effect of school parents’ self-esteem between the parenting stress and the awareness of child abuse. Data were collected from 389 school parents residing A city of Gyeonggi-do. The results of analysing as follows : 1) the variable of the parenting stress of school parents had negative statistic association with the awareness of child abuse. 2) the self-esteem of school parents was found to mediate between the parenting stress and the awareness of child abuse. Based on these study results, several suggestions were made to improve the awareness of school parents’ child abuse in terms of the reduction of their parenting stress and the enhancement of their self-esteem. This study has the significance of the convergence approach in terms of pedagogy, psychology, social welfare.
