이 연구는 대학교 운동선수들의 부적응적 완벽주의와 속박감 및 우울간의 관계를 규명함으로써 대학교 운동선수 들이 우울에 대한 개념을 파악하고 이에 대해 올바르게 적응할 수 있는 기초자료들을 제공하고자 하였다. 2018년 대한 체육회에 운동선수로 등록되어 있고 S시와 K도 지역에 위치한 대학교 소속 운동선수 258명을 대상으로 부적응적 완벽 주의와 속박감 및 우울간의 관계를 검증한 결과, 대학교 운동선수들의 부적응적 완벽주의와 속박감 및 우울 간에는 통계 적으로 의미 있는 관계성이 있는 것으로 나타났고 부적응적 완벽주의는 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 으며, 속박감을 매개로 하여 우울에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에서 나타난 결과들은 우울을 통제하는 것에서 부적응적 완벽주의와 속박감에 대한 중요성을 시사한다.

The study found the influence of maladaptive perfectionism and entrapment on depression in university athletes so that they could identify and adapt the concepts of depression correctly. The test was conducted to confirm the results of a total of 258 university athletes registered as athletes by the Korean Sports and Olympic Committee in 2018 and located in the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Gyeonggi Province. The results are as follows. There has been a significant correlation among the subfactor of maladaptive perfectionism, entrapment and depression of university athletes. Maladaptive perfectionism has been shown to have a direct effect on depression. And maladaptive perfectionism has been shown to have an indirect influence on depression by means of entrapment. The findings in this study suggest the importance of maladaptive perfectionism and entrapment in controlling depression.
