In this paper, we propose the method of correcting the perspective distortion of the license plate picture using the depth image. We can detect the license plate by the structural feature that a license plate is made in a plane. We obtain the normal vector of the license plate in the camera coordinate system. And then it calculates transformation matrices with the normal vector of the image plane to transform the view of the image plane to the frontal view.
