본 연구는 봅슬레이 스켈레톤 국가대표 팀에 대한 스폰서십 활동이 선수들의 경기성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지 규명하는데 앞서, 선수들이 경험한 기업의 스폰서십 활동에 대한 견해와 실질적 훈련 환경 등을 탐색하고 그 성과를 규명하는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 사용한 연구방법은 문헌고찰과 심층면담이다. 봅슬레이 스켈레톤 국가대표 팀의 스폰서십은 장비, 경기복, 신발 등의 장비 지원과 재정적 지원, 매니지먼트사 계약의 유형을 들 수 있다. 그 다음 스폰서 기업의 팀과 선수 개인에 대한 후원은 선수들의 훈련 환경 개선, 자신감 제고, 몰입감 제고 등의 이점을 가져 주었다. 하지만 이러한 환경이 단발성이 아니라 지속적으로 이루어진다면 세계에서 대한민국 봅 슬레이 스켈레톤 국가대표 팀은 강국으로 자리 잡을 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of sponsorship activities on the national team of the bobsled skeleton, previously to explore the perspectives of sponsor activities and actual training environment of the athletes. The research methods used to achieve these research objectives are literature reviews and depth interviews. The sponsorship of the bobsleigh skeleton national team includes equipment support, equipment, shoes, and other equipment support, financial support, and management contracts. Next the sponsorship of the sponsorship team and the athletes then gave the athletes better training environment, improved self-awareness, and improved immersion. However, if this environment is not continuous but continuous, the Korean bobsleigh skelton national team in the world will become a powerful nation.
