Internet technology has created a new consumption space for human beings. Whereas, numerous disputes from online purchase spread rapidly, with features of small claims and long distance. Due to the inherent drawbacks and poor judicial environment, the traditional civil litigation systems, including representative litigation, small claims litigation and public interest litigation, are not able to deal with these online disputes, so are the alternative dispute resolutions, which have been well known as their convenience, flexibility, efficiency, and so on. Therefore, Internet technology should be considered and made use to design a dispute resolution for online purchase, so as to overcome the difficulties of resolving online disputes through an offline way. Given to the reality of China, online ADR mechanisms such as court sponsored blind bidding with reasonable cohesion to civil litigation should be suitable for realizing micro-justice in an efficient, inexpensive and authoritative way for online consumers.
