본 연구는, 도이모이 정책 이후 집합주택들이 베트남 도시주거의 대안으로서 민간 주도하에 본격적으로 건설되기 시작한 1995년 부터 초기 10년간 하노이 및 호치민 지역에 건설된 집합주택들을 대상으로 현지조사를 통해 작성된 평면 사례들을 바탕으로 주호의 공간구성의 특성과 주호의 크기에 따른 공간구성의 변화과정을 규명함을 그 목적으로 하고 있다. 그 결과, 주호 공간구성의 기본 원리와 특성, 그리고 공간구성에 영향을 주는 요인들을 알 수 있었으며, 특히 주호 면적의 증가에 따른 공간구성의 변화과정과 그 특징을 파악할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this research is to understand the characteristics of the spatial composition of the units of housing complex in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and their vicinities built by private construction companies during the years between 1995 and 2005, when the collective houses started to be constructed as an alternative to the Vietnamese city housing. For this study, the floor plans of the units drawn at the time of field survey were typed through Table Mapping, and typical representative cases of each type were extracted. As a result, it was found that the basic principles and characteristics of the space structure, the process and characteristics of spatial composition with the increase of the space area, and the factors influencing the spatial composition.
