이 논문은 이상의 텍스트 속에서 반복되는 ‘앵무’라는 소재를 새롭게 해석해 보고자 하였다. 그 해석의 방식은 하나의 텍스트를 근거로 하여 해명되지 않는 다른 텍스트를 설명하는 방식을 따랐다. 이상의 초기 텍스트들은 후기의 것에 비해 모호하거나 관념적이어서 단독적으로 이해하기 어려운 경우가 많다. 보다 구체적인 후기 텍스트들을 이용하여 이전 텍스트들의 의미를 재구성해 보았다. 이러한 해석 방식은 ‘소급적(retroactive)’인 사유 구조를 지닌다고 이야기할 수 있다. 그것은 이후의 구체적인 결과들을 기반으로, 명확히 해명되지 않았던 이전의 원인이나 조건들을 규명하는 방식이다. 추상적인 내용과 프랑스어 등의 외국어가 기술되어 있는 ｢지도의 암실｣을 이후 발표된 ｢오감도 시제6호｣와 결합해 논의하였다. 또한 구체적인 서사가 삽입되어 있는 후기 소설 ｢지주회시｣를 근거로 하여, 이전 작품 속에서 반복되는 ‘앵무’를 또 다른 관점에서 해석해 보았다. 선행 연구들은 ‘앵무’를 주로 ‘아내’ 혹은 ‘부부’의 표상으로 간주했다. 이 논문에서는 ‘앵무’가 공동체 속 위치를 규정하려 하는 인간의 ‘말’의 논리를 대변하고 있다고 파악하였다. 그 앵무는 소거하고자 하는 동물의 ‘목소리’를 한 몸에 지닌 채 살아갈 수밖에 없는 인간의 모순적인 모습이기도 하였다.

This study attempted to interpret the material of the 'Parrot' repeated in the Lee Sang's text. The method of interpretation follows a way that describe one text that is not explained based on other text. Lee Sang's early texts are often ambiguous or ideological, and are often difficult to understand alone. This paper tried to reconstruct the meaning of previous texts using more specific later texts. This interpretation can be said to have a "retroactive" thinking structure. It is a way to identify previous causes or conditions that have not been clearly elucidated, based on specific later results. The “Dark Room of Map”, in which the abstract contents and foreign languages ​​such as French are described, was discussed in conjunction with the later-announced “Ogamdo Poem No.6”. In addition, based on the situational similarity with the late novel “Jijuhoesi” with the specific narrative inserted, this study tried to interpret the “parrot” repeated in the previous works from another point of view. Previous studies have considered the 'parrot' as a representation of 'wife' or 'couple'. This paper grasped that the 'parrot' represents the logic of the human 'word' to define the position within the community. The parrot was also a contradictory human figure that had to live with the 'voice' of the animal which they want to erase in one body.
