車範根, 그는 축구의 나라 독일, 그곳에서 세계 최고의 축구경기를 하면서 무슨 생각을 하였을까? 차범근은 ʻ축구 는 즐겁다. 축구를 해서 기뻤다. 축구는 환희 그 자체였다. 그리고 축구 때문에 행복했다.ʼ고 했다. 차범근의 이 말들은 우리가 추구해야 할 스포츠 본연의 정신, 순수한(긍정적) 아마추어리즘이 아닐까? 차범근의 축구觀에서 긍정적인 아마 추어리즘의 향수를 맡을 수 있다. 과거의 排他的이고 身分制的인 부정의 아마추어리즘이 아니라 긍정적인 아마추어리 즘을 살려서 이를 새롭게 수정하는 것은 이 시대의 ʻ인간적 스포츠에로의 노력ʼ일 것이다. 현대 스포츠가 자본주의에 물 들어 기업화되고 상업화되어도 여전히 독일에서 축구는 그들 인생의 기쁨이고 환희이며 행복이다. 우리도 그들처럼 ʻ즐 거워서 하는 축구(축구동호인)ʼ, ʻ축구를 하면 기쁘고(축구선수)ʼ, ʻ축구를 보면 행복한(관람객)ʼ, 그런 축구시대를 열어 보길 기대한다. 이것이 본 연구가 논하는 긍정적인 아마추어리즘이며 차범근의 축구觀을 통해 본 새로운 아마추어리즘 에 대한 시론이다. 이를 1) 熱情과 最善, 2) 名譽와 自負心, 3) 卓越性과 尊敬, 4) 寬容과 配慮, 5) 勇氣와 念慮로 정리해 보았다.

Cha Bum-Kun, What he thinks while plying the world's best soccer game in Germany which is the football nation? Cha said "Football is fun, I was happy to play football, Football was the picture of a delight, and I was so happy because of football. What he says could be the original spirit of sports and pure(positive) amateurism which we need to pursue. There is the positive amateurism in his outlook on the football. The humane efforts for the sport is to newly modify positive amateurism not exclusive, hierarchical and negative amateurism in the past. The football in the Germany is still a joy, delight, and happiness of their life although the modern sports infected by capitalism have become industrialized and commercialized. We hope to open a new era of football likes them. ʻThey are playing the football they are happy (soccer club members)ʼ, ʻThey are happy to play football(soccer player)ʼ, and ʻThey are happy to see football(spectator)ʼ. They are positive amateurism discussed in this research and commentary for new amateurism through the outlook on the football of Cha Bum-Kun. This is summarized as follows. 1) passion and best, 2) honor and pride, 3) excellence and respect, 4) generosity and consideration, and 5) courage and care.
