EUREKA는 EU와의 국제기술협력에서 상용기술분야에서 중요한 기술협력 정책 중 하나이다. EUREKA에 대한 연구는 몇몇 있지만, 국제기술협력 방안과 중소기업 간 또는 산업체와 연구소들에 대한 것으로서 연구주체 간의 협력방안 및 정책들에 한해 있다. 이러한 연구들은 수평관계 비즈니스에서의 국제기술협력 방안이다. 본 논문에서는 수직관계 비즈니스에서의 EUREKA를 활용한 국제기술협력요인을 찾는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 논문의 연구결과는 수직관계 기업들이 EUREKA를 참여함으로써 보다 나은 협상력을 가질 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

EUREKA is one of the most important international technological cooperations in politics for the EU. Until now, most research examined horizontal business relationships. This paper attempted to discover the factors of vertical business relationships throughout international technological cooperation, specifically EUREKA. The results of this paper found that the supplier in a vertical relationship business could have more power through EUREKA cooperation.
