The paper examines the role of exchange rate (EER & REER) in Mongolia. Based on quarterly date for the period 2000:1Q to 2015:1Q, highlight EER AND REER index that trade volume of export and import, an additional set of monthly nominal indices, considering 5 main trading partners (namely China, Russia, ROK, USA, Japan) is also available in the statistical data.
