The purpose of this study was to examine Team Cohesion and Team Commitment according to Leisure Activity of Participation in Elite Women Basketball Athletes. To achieve this purpose, the subject was selected by elite women basketball athletes. In total, 210 survey questionnaires were distributed and 204 questionnaires used after eliminating 6 incomplete samples. There are 4questionnaires of leisure activity participation and two questionnaires(team commitment and team cohesion). The collected data were analyzed by the frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and regression analysis with SPSS WIN 18.0 programs. The results were as follows; First, it was found that in the characteristics of leisure activity participation made a statistically significant differences in team commitment. Second, the characteristics of leisure activity participation made a statistically significant differences in team cohesion. Third, elite women basketball athletes of team commitment had a significant influence on team cohesion. To put the conclusion obtained from this research was that, particularly due to the viewpoint of elite women basketball athletes, the leaders need to actively recommend leisure activities participation are very important to team commitment and team cohesion.
