The Attitude of General High School Students Toward Technology in Gyeonggi Province

The purpose of this study was to analyze statistically the attitude of students toward Technology at general high school in Gyeonggi Province.
The instrument of survey to achievement the purpose of this study was based on the domain of technology presented in the 'Jackson's Mill Curriculum Theory'. The questionnaire based on the five domains of curriculum; manufacturing technology, construction technology, transportation technology, communication technology, and biological technology, was replied by 520 students of 13 schools among general high schools in Gyeonggi Province and analyzed with cluster sampling. The questionnaire was analyzed with x², ANOVA at the significance level 0.05. And the results of the statistical analysis were the follows;
First, the degree of the attitude that general high school students showed toward technology is normal. Second, according to the variations from the region where school is located, it is proved that the attitude of the students in city is high. Finally, in the aspect of gender, girls have higher attitude than boys.
