The purpose of this study was to investigate the vision for technology education through the rationale of participatory technology. The method of this study was literature review.
The major results of this study were as follows;
1) The definition of technology education has need of appropriate assessment for technological activities. 2) The goal of technology education has need of ability for technology control. 3) The content of technology education has need of relationship between technology and society. 4) The delivery system of technology education has need of lecture, discussion and presentation. 5) The life-long education for technological literacy has need of understanding technology.
