최근 환경적인 이슈가 지속적으로 증대되고 있는 가운데 거주자의 쾌적한 주거환경 요구증대와 친환경적 건자재 개발에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이와 더불어, 실용적인 폐기물 재활용에 대한 필요성 또한 세계적으로 가장 큰 화두로 떠오르고 있다. 따라서 재활용과 관련된 기술과 관심은 향후 지속적으로 계속될 것이라 판단된다. 본 연구는 환경적 문제들을 해결할 뿐만 아니라 동시에 새로운 공학적 기술을 통한 사회 경제적 이익창출을 지향하고 있다. 더불어 본 연구에서 제시하는 기술은 제품의 품질을 확보하고 공학적 기술을 향상시키는 데 그 목적이 있으며, 특히 건축내장재와 관련하여 다음 세대를 위한 재활용 판재 개발 기술을 확보하고자 하는데 있다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 황토, 숯 그리고 매립회의 혼합을 통해 개발되어진 친환경 건축마감재의 성능평가를 통해 그 활용가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

In today’s world where the importance of environmental issues is constantly growing, recycling and reusing waste products is more than necessary. Therefore, issue on actively recycling waste products is one of the biggest concerns worldwide, and thus, we can predict recycling techniques and interests will continue developing hereafter. This research is planning to not only solve environmental problems but also simultaneously achieve social benefits through new engineering method skills. In addition, this technology has a goal to obtain superb quality of the product and to improve engineering method, possibly acquiring recycling boards skill for next generation recording in architectural interior materials. Consequently this research develops an architectural finishing eco-material by using a novel red clay(Hwang-to) and charcoal(Soot) compounds and defines that this material can be useful for high quality settlement environment.
