이 글은 ‘현대 한국어 태동기’에 출판된, 동일한 원전을 번역한 한국어 번역물이 둘 이상 존재하는 문예물 중에서 국한혼용문 번역과 순한글 번역이 공존하는 것들을 대상으로 그들의 국어사 자료로서의 특징을 살피는 것을 목적으로 한다. 서론에서는 연구 목적과 필요성을 논하였고, 2장에서는 이들 15종의 국한혼용문 번역본 및 순한글 번역본의 번역 원전, 국한혼용문 번역본의 문체 유형, 번역 방식(직역, 의역, 축약역 등), 현전본의 서지, 국한혼용문 번역본과 순한글 번역본 사이의 상관 관계 등을 분석하였다. 검토 대상이 된 자료의 목록은 다음과 같다. ① 걸리버여행기 ② 經國美談 ③ 나폴레옹 전기 ④ 路得改敎紀略 ⑤ 미국독립사 ⑥ 瑞士建國誌 ⑦ 愛國精神(談) ⑧ 越南亡國史 ⑨ 伊太利建國三傑傳 ⑩ 中東戰記(쳥일전긔) ⑪ 中國魂 ⑫ 動物談 ⑬ 滅國新法論 ⑭ 일본의 조선 ⑮ 波蘭革命黨의 奇謀詭計.

The aim of this paper is to survey the translated narratives which were translated more than twice in Korean Alphabets and Mixed-Scripts in bibliographical perspectives. In the first chapter, the author clarified the necessities and aims of the study. In chapter 2, the author surveyed the original texts of these translated texts and determied the styles of Mixed-Script, relation between Korean Alphabet translations Mixed-Script translations etc. The list of the works are as follows. ① Gulliver's Travels ② A story of National Adminiatration in Greece ③ Napoleon’s biography ④ The life of Martin Luther ⑤ The history of America’s Independence ⑥ William Tell ⑦ You are a soldier : A story of French Soldier ⑧ The Fall of Vietnam ⑨ The makers of Modern Italy ⑩ A Full Story of Sino-Japanese War ⑪ Chinese Spirits ⑫ Animal’s stories ⑬ How to ruin one’s Country ⑭ Japan’s Chosen ⑮ Tricky rebellions of Polland.
