The Effects of Leadership Types on Organizational Culture and Organizational Effectiveness in Taekwondo Academy Masters
This study was intended to analyze the effects of leadership types on organizational culture and organizational effectiveness in taekwondo academy masters. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted with taekwondo academy masters in Gwangju, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk in 2014. Data collection and analysis were performed using a questionnaire survey and the results were as follows. First, transformational leadership had a positive(+) effect on servant leadership in taekwondo academy masters. Second, transformational leadership had a positive(+) effect on organizational culture in taekwondo academy masters. Third, transformational leadership had a positive(+) effect on organizational effectiveness in taekwondo academy masters. Fourth, servant leadership had a positive(+) effect on organizational culture in taekwondo academy masters. Fifth, servant leadership had a positive(+) effect on organizational effectiveness in taekwondo academy masters. Sixth, organizational culture had a positive(+) effect on organizational effectiveness in taekwondo academy masters. Based on the results of the study, this author makes a suggestion for further researchers. As there are repeated contents in a questionnaire due to leader's characteristics and a wide range, further researches should draw conclusions using more various study methods such as in-depth interview in the field and qualitative study as well as quantitative study.
