This study was to verify the relationships among achievement athlete's shoot, goalkeeper's defense, and athlete's score on handball performance. The data were collected out of handball games' record from Korea Handball Federation homepage from 2011 to 2012 and all games were 163 maches(men matches were 65, women matches were 104) in this study. To analyze the data, the variables of athlete's shoot, shoot success rate, shoot attempt rate, swift ball success rate, and the variables of goalkeeper's defense, goalkeeper's defense rate, goalkeeper's no mark rate, 9m defense rate were selected after the expert meeting. SPSS 18.0 program was used to calculate mean and standard deviation, and analyze independent t-test, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, there were statistically significant relationships on athlete's individual score and goalkeeper's 9m defence between men and women athletes. Second, in case of the variables of athlete's shoot, there were statistically significant relationships positively on swift ball success in both men and women athletes using multiple regression analysis. Third, in case of the variables of goalkeeper's defence, there were statistically significant relationships negatively on goalkeeper's defence rate in both men and women athletes using multiple regression analysis. Last, in case of the variables of athlete's shoot and goalkeeper's defence together, there were statistically significant relationships positively on swift ball success both men and women athletes using multiple regression analysis.
