The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of self-management on self-confidence of gymnastics players. The data were collected from the 250 gymnastics players by the purpose sampling method. Excluding 18 data that some parts of the research were left out or that were unduly answered, total 232 data were analyzed by the MANOVA, factor analysis, correlation and multiple regression analysis using SPSSWIN 12.0. The results of the analysis were summarized as follows: First, the difference in self-management on self-confidence based on personal character was shown in all of gender, affiliation, and experience. difference appeared in proof of ability, physical/mental preparation, and social support. In gender, affiliation and experience, difference in leadership of coach and social support existed while in affiliation difference showed in proof of ability, leadership of coach and social support. Second, self-management statistically and significantly influences self-confidence. self-management low rank factor had positive effects and in proof of ability and coach leadership, difference was shown in body and mental management. Third, according to the self-management of gymnastics players, it was correlated on self-confidence. In mental management and training management are ralated to the self-confidence.
