The beginning of the modern architecture was an age to pursue new configuration. According to the passing of time, the Catholic church was accepted change. Liturgical space has been sanctified by function of light. It helps to see the objects and to embody a space's existence and meaning. In Catholic architecture, lighting has been considered as an absolute architectural factor connecting faith and worship ritual. Especially light in liturgical space acts as a medium that connects the God with the human. Therefore, Liturgical space has to be designed in order to communication with the God through the light. The purpose of this study is to examine instances related function of the light.
