Great economic growth have changed in the Dongdaemun commercial district. Phyunghwa Market have been considered the founders of Dongdaemun shopping district. But now The old commercial sector is pushed by new one and lose competitiveness. This plan is progressed in the part of Phyunghwa market. Renovation by the reinterpretation of the alleys should improve existing problems(stuffy path in the market, lack of cultural facilities and public space). And disconnected circulation between north and south should be solved by the view corridor in this plan. Through this plan, the meaning of renovation should be understood. And the previous value of market should be recovered.
