Officetel is a very useful facility for housing policy for single households that are rapidly increasing. Originally, officetel belongs to a business facility according to the building law, but it has been considered as a genre of housing by the young generation who prefers living in officetels in urban life. For such reason, recently, the supply of officetels for residence has been active, and the construction of double-story officetels is increasing as a way of using narrow spaces more efficiently. However, there has been a shortage of studies on double-story officetel, so far. More studies on it would help double-story officetels established as one housing type to satisfy the needs of consumers.
