As I figure out whether Yeonsan market are able to play vital locational roles and functions in center of its neighborhood, architectural conditions to recover social and cultural roles of traditional market are derived, after that new ways to activate it properly are suggested. After theoretical consideration of old local market, if it restored its social and cultural functions, the locational potential of Yeonsan market and activation on its community can be predictable. What is more, architectural conditions and alternatives to vitalize the traditional market revolved around its neighborhood through analysis of current situation on Yeonsan market, and to conclude, a possibility as local public place is expected through revitalizing its sociocultural roles.
