Smart devices have become popular because the devices are very useful. Since users have dealt with more and more information using the smart devices, they have required more convenient way to use the smart devices. To satisfy users, Apple, Inc. launched iPhone 4S which was built in an IPA (Intelligent Personal Assistant) called SIRI (Speech Interpretation and Recognition Interface) in 2011. After that, many companies have introduced the smart devices which were built in an IPA. The previous studies about an IPA focused on performance of the technology. It is hard to find a study about factors influencing the utilization of an IPA. However, many researchers have examined many factors influencing the utilization of technology besides performance of technology. Therefore, this study introduces a research model and analyzes the factors influencing the utilization of an IPA on smart devices. The research model is based on extant theories such as TAM and TTF about technology acceptance and utilization.
