The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of achievement goals and sport confidence of athletes on leadership style of judo coach's. In order to achieve this purpose, 250 subjects were selected among participated in the 2012 cheongpungki judo competition meet for secondary school judo player by using the stratified cluster random sampling method. Out of the 250 questionnaires responded to, only 203 were used for data analyses because 47 were responded to incompletely or incorrectly. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which leadership Style, achievement goals and sport confidence of items identified by Bass(1988), Jang(2009) and Vealey(1986) respectively. The statistical methods utilized in the study for analyzing the collected data were reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, standard multiple regression analysis and the following results were obtained: First, leadership style judo coach’s statistically and significantly influences achievement goals and sport confidence of athletes. Second, achievement goals statistically and significantly influences sport confidence.
