The purpose of this study was to analyze the urban contextual characteristics in Architecture of Neo- Rationalism. The architectural works and theories of Neo-Rationalism are mentioned with the background of urban context in 1960’s and interpretation of city and architectures. Neo-Rationalism is on the basis of philosophical, historical, architectural backgrounds. In these background, Neo-Rationalist developed their interpretation of city and architecture, relation of city and typology. As a result of this study, it is to comprehend ‘ reproduction of urban fabric’, ‘application of spatial construction’ and ‘Monumentality of building elements’.
