Regeneration of closed schools have been required according to the prospects that the number of small size schools will increase with decreasing the number of school-age child in the recent year. Considering the situation of the rural areas that have lack of the cultural institutions than the urban areas, utilizing closed schools which were the regional centers as the cultural facilities will help to alleviate cultural polarization and activate rural areas. On this study, 'Dumoak, Kim Young Gap Gallery' which was selected for National Truster in 2006 and is being assessed as a good case of utilization as the regional cultural facility was chosen as the case and will figure out the limits and the reason why it could be possible to use as the cultural facility on time series survey.
