The purpose of this study was to analyze recent recomposition approach for the traditional characteristics of Korean architecture and define the characteristics in spacial constitution of the official residence for the prime minister. Through the architectural competition project entry of the official residence for the prime minister in Korea, the traditional terms of 'Madang' and 'Jise' was reconfigured to develop the concept, S-cape ; Weave through Traditional and contemporary, landscape and architecture.
