Local festivals in Korea have lately been improved and changed in various conditions, and now it is time to study and analyze Korean festivals facing modification according to their regional characteristics. The study is focused on festivals in Busan and marine style festivals, differentiating from inland style festivals that have been studied so far. For this study, festivals in Busan are classified into four types; beach style, harbor style, fishery harbor style, fish market style by categorizing its geographical, spatial characteristics. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of marine festivals in Busan by researching those four types of festivals through spatial analysis.
