This study aims to clarify the relationship between intentions to participate in rock fishing and continuous behaviors from the viewpoint of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). For this purpose, 262 copies of questionnaire sheets were collected from the rock fishing club members who participated in the '2011 GURE MASTERS Regional Preliminary Tournament'. Excluding 30 copies of questionnaire sheets completed inadequately, 232 of them were used for final analyses. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 software programs. Specifically, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling were conducted. From the results of these analyses, the following conclusions were drawn. First, the attitudes of the rock fishing participants had no significant effects on their exercise intentions. Second, the subjective norms of the rock fishing participants had no significant effects on their exercise intentions. Third, the perceived behavioral control of the rock fishing participants had positive influences upon their exercise intentions. Fourth, the perceived behavioral control of the rock fishing participants had positive effects on their continuous behaviors. Finally, the exercise intentions of the rock fishing participants had positive impacts on their continuous behaviors.
