Many heated arguments have been developed about the status of the English Language in Jeju Island since the project of Jeju Free International City has been made public. This paper deals with the English Language as the global language and suggests how to teach and use English in Jeju Island in order to develop Jeju Island successfully into an Free International City without damaging our language, culture, customs, history, and so on.
