This study was designed to identify factors affecting participation adherence decision by the elementary Taekwondo practitioners with focus on factors of participation environment, participation motivation, participation satisfaction, participation flow and participation attitude to build a research model and hypothesis. In order to test the hypothesis, 559 elementary Taekwondo practitioners in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area has been selected to causal relation between participation environment, participation motivation, participation satisfaction, participation flow and participation attitude and participation adherence decision. For data analysis, SPSS 15.0 and AMOS v6.0 were operated, and analyzed such as CFA, Cronbach's α, correlation and structural equation modeling analysis were implemented to achieve the study aims. Results are as follows. The participation environment influences on the participation satisfaction, flow and participation adherence decision. The participation motivation influences on the participation satisfaction and flow. The participation satisfaction influences on the participation flow, attitude and participation adherence decision. The participation flow influences on the participation attitude and participation adherence decision. The participation attitude influences on the participation adherence decision. In conclusion this study result showed direct effect on participation adherence decision by environment. And participation motivation does not affect participation adherence decision directly but participation adherence decision is mediated indirectly by participation motivation through channels such as participation satisfaction, participation flow and participation attitude.
