The purpose of this study was to develop the indices of analysis for performance evaluation in field-hockey using an pass network analysis system. Fifteen games (five university team games and five professional team games) were recorded based on video recorder and analyzed social network analysis system for pass pattern in field hockey. Kruskal-wallis methods were used for the data analysis and the level of significance was set in α＝0.05. The results of this study are following: Defense index of pass network analysis was important index for winning and level of game. Professional team was many pass and node and used short pass and fast speed than university team. Therefore, pass network analysis indices were valid and useful indices for performance analysis in field-hockey.
