The purpose of this study was to examine the introduction and development of taekwondo in Egypt, the cradle of modern civilization. As a result of investigating the introduction of taekwondo in the early 1970s and the development process of it up to the 2010s, the following findings were given: First, taekwondo that showed the national spirits of Korea spread among people of different countries thanks to the endeavor and sacrifice of overseas taekwondo instructors. Their pioneering spirits served to have taekwondo entrenched in the unknown world and to make Egypt Second, the athletic records of the national taekwondo team of Egypt and relevant data were analyzed to figure out how taekwondo was entrenched and developed in that country, and the historical significance of taekwondo in Egypt was explored. Finally, taekwondo was found to be one of the favorite sports of Egyptians and to have a physical and mental impact on them. They enjoyed the sport and well received Korean culture. Egypt that provides training for backup national athletes in preparation for the Olympic Games is expected to accelerate its own globalization and development through taekwondo. UCI :
