The purpose of this study was to analyze the actual landscape conditions of fishing villages and to suggest the direction for creative landscape formation of them. For this, we tried to field survey for 21 sample places and drew each coastal characteristics.
The results of this study were as follows ; First, Fishing villages of each coast have different characteristics, endemic landscape types and elements. Second, landscape formation projects of fishing villages is pushing ahead with mainly supply standardized facilities. So, They must establish the directions of landscape formation considering geographical location and their characteristics. Third, It need to change the awareness for landscape formation by the inhabitants participation. And, Government has to prepare policies such as incentive system.
