Nowadays the relation between Mongolia and Japan is becoming closer and closer. Especially Japan gives great aid to Mongolian government and the people. In this presentation I point out that Japanese understanding of Mongolia has Orientalism and Ethnocentrism. In oreder to understand more the each other, we should study on the negative sides of 20th century's musical history in both Japan and Mongolia. And then I suggest we can grope to the future's relation between Mongolia and Japan, and the culturel strategy.
