유비쿼터스 환경에서 다자간 회의는 다양한 서비스를 위한 기본 응용 기술 중의 하나이며, 계층적 다자간 회의는 이 환경에서 유용하게 이용된다. 정해진 회의 시간을 보장하면서 점진적 계층적 다자간 회의를 효율적으로 구성하기 위한 다양한 방법들이 제안되었다. 만일 회의가 일정시간 진행되고 난 후에 초기에 설정한 회의 시간을 연장하여야 할 때 회의의 구성 변화가 필요하다. 본 논문에서 회의를 부분적으로 재구성하기 위하여 종단 단말기와 비종단 단말기의 교환을 이용하여 회의 시간을 연장하는 방법을 제안하였다. 다양한 모의실험 결과 제안한 방법에 의하여 회의 시간이 연장되었음을 알 수 있었다.

The multipoint conference in ubiquitous environment is expected to be one of fundamental applications for various services, and hierarchical multipoint conference can be used well in this environment. Various methods were proposed to organize efficiently an ad-hoc hierarchical conference with a predefined conference time. If it is possible to extend a predefined conference time after the conference progressed during a certain period of time, it should be necessary to reconstruct partially the conference. In this paper, we propose a method to extend the conference time using a swap of non-terminal node and terminal node to reconstruct partially the conference. With various simulation results, we know that conference time would be extended using our method.
