이 연구는 실과 기술 영역의 PCK 측정 도구를 개발하여 현직 교사의 실과 기술영역 PCK 수준을 진단, 파악하는데 목적을 두고 수행되었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 실현하기 위해 우선, PCK관련 선행연구검토를 통해 기존 연구가 가지는 제한점을 분석하고 연구내용을 도출하였으며, PCK 측정도구는 실과 기술 영역 PCK 개념 및 구성 요소에 대한 재구조화를 토대로 기본 영역을 설정하고 선행연구 결과를 기초로 최초 문항을 구성하여 전문가 집단에게 내용타당도를 검증받았다. 내용 타당도는 실과 및 기술교육 전문가 4인(대학교수 3인, 박사소지 초등교사 1인)에게 의뢰하여 검증받았으며, 신뢰도 Cronbach α=.830이었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다.첫째, 초등학교 교사의 실과 기술영역 PCK의 종합적 수준은 5점 만점 중 3.42점으로 보통보다 약간 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 실과 기술영역 PCK 전반과 실과내용지식 측면에서 남녀차이가 가장 크게 나타났으며, 교육경력 11~20년의 중견교사군에서 가장 높은 수준으로 분석되었고, 4~10년 사이의 교사군에서 가장 낮게 나타났다. 심화(전공)이 실과인 경우 높게 나타났으며, 기타 심화에서는 낮게 나타나 공통 강의를 강화하여 실과에 대한 지식을 강화할 필요가 있었다. 셋째, 실과에 대한 교과선호도와 실과 지도에 대한 자신감인 교과지도 효능감의 수준에 따라 선호도와 효능감이 높을수록 PCK가 높게 나타나 PCK가 실제 교실수업에서 교사의 교과 선호도, 교과 지도효능감을 통해 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of pedagogical content knowledge(PCK) of elementary teachers. It was centered at technology content area in practical arts. Research methods of the study were review of the previous studies on the PCK, the survey was performed to the elementary teachers' capabilities of their PCK(6 domains of knowledge) about technology content area. The collected data was analyzed and performed descriptive statics, t-test and F-test. As a result, findings of this study are the followings: First, PCK of elementary teachers about technology was different depending on their sex, major and educational career. The elementary teachers' PCK of Practical Arts' Technology area of ​​the overall level of 3.42 out of 5 points was slightly higher than normal. PCK of Practical Arts' Technology area in terms of overall gender difference was the largest, 11-20 years of teaching experience to the highest level in mid-teacher groups were analyzed, 4 to 10 years most of the teachers in the group were lower. Second, PCK of elementary teachers about technology was different depending on the preference of the subject and teaching efficacy of practical arts.
