The purpose of this study is to define the effect of media and physical activity for teenager’s addiction to media and body mass index(BMI). This study analyzes student population of 805 from middle and high school, who were residing in Seoul, Gyeonggi -do, Incheon in 2008. For statistical data analysis in this study, SSPS/PC Window V15.0 program was used for frequency analysis, correlation, exploratory factor analysis and reliability test, and AM06 7.0 program for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model analysis. The results are followings. First, the acceptance for internet does not influence over the addiction to internet. Second, the acceptance for TV influences over the addiction to TV positively. Third, physical activity influences over BMI negatively. Fourth, rest and sleep influence over the addiction to internet negatively. Fifth, rest and sleep influence over the addiction to TV negatively. Sixth, the addiction to internet does not influence over BMI. Seventh, the addiction to TV influences over BMI statically.
