The purpose of this study is to examine the some environmental factors by which baseball players have been affected and to analyze the effect of environmental factors on perceived performance. The subjects of this study are total 280 players among registered players in middle schools and high schools. The questionnaires were distributed using Cluster Random Sampling and people were asked to answer questionnaires with self-administration method. Factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted with 263 answered questionnaires that excluded unfaithful answers and missing data using SPSS WIN 12.0 program statistical package. The results are following. First, in environmental factors accodring to the demographic characteristics of baseball players, the living status showed the statistically significant difference in home environment and social environment, and position showed the statistically significant difference in home environment. The perceived performance was statistically significant in affiliation, the position was statistically significant in confidence and living status was stastically significant in satisfaction of game. Second, in the effect of baseball players’ environmental factors on perceived performance, satisfaction of game was statistically positive in cultural environment. As a result, environmental factors and satisfaction of baseball players should be preceded to improve players’ performance and it’s considered that coaches in the field should give the right lessons fitting to the environmental factors of players after they identify the characteristics of each player.
