The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of recognized professionalization for instructors of public sport center’s health club members on leisure satisfaction. In order to achieve this purpose, 240 subjects were selected among participants of health activity programs in the Gyeonggi area by using the multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method. Out of the 240 questionnaires responded to, only 231 were used for data analyses because 9 were responded to incompletely or incorrectly. the instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which recognized professionalization for instructors and leisure satisfaction consisted of items identified by Kim(1995) and Kim(2004) respectively. the statistical method utilized in the study for analyzing the collected data were reliability analysis, descriptive statistic, on-way ANOVA, standard multiple regression analysis, and the following results were obtained; First, both recognized professionalization for instructors and leisure satisfaction differ statistically and significantly according to both socio- demographic variables. Second, recognized professionalization for instructors statistically and significantly influences leisure satisfaction.
